fix your eyes on Jesus

Fix Your Eyes on Jesus

By Josephine Hubbard

During a time of prayer and meditation I received this word from the Lord: "The Lord God Almighty will FIX everything that concerns the children of the most High God in 2006."

The word "fix" is defined in Webster's online dictionary as meaning: to make firm, stable or stationary; to give a permanent or final form to; and to set in order, to repair, mend, restore and cure.

Hebrews 12: 2 - states: "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

The Lord desires to set every circumstance in your life in order in 2006. Where there is a healing need, pray and believe God for the cure and for total restoration in your spirit, your soul, (your mind, will and emotions) and your body. Pray for family members to be healed and in right relationship with God and each other.

In order to receive God's blessings in 2006, examine your life and confess any sin known and unknown and pray for forgiveness. Next, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal everything that needs to be released from your life. Take a white blank sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle. On the left side write the word RELEASE. Pray and write what the Holy Spirit shows you to lovingly release. On the right side of the same paper write the word RECEIVE. Pray and write what you desire to receive according to God's perfect will and purpose for you in 2006. Last, lovingly pray over, bless and cut the paper down the middle and discard the Release portion. Keep the Receive portion in your bible and lift it up in prayer daily. Also look up and write scriptures that support your prayer requests for 2006.

Pray Psalm 119: 133 - 135 daily: "Direct my footsteps according to your word. Let no sin rule over me. Redeem me from the oppression of men, that I may obey your precepts. Make your face shine upon your servant and teach me your decrees."

Pray Psalm 119: 165 daily: - "Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble."

Parents read and study all of Deuteronomy 11 "Love and Obey the Lord." Read, and follow the guidance written in these scriptures: Deuteronomy 11: 18 - 21 "Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
