triumph over life's challenges by placing your faith in God

TRIUMPH OVER LIFE'S CHALLENGES
BY PLACING YOUR FAITH IN GOD

Are you or a loved one facing a challenging situation? Do not be dismayed, worried, or anxious. Follow the example of Abraham, and triumph over your trials.

In Romans 4: 18 - 19 the word of God states: "Against all hope, Abraham became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him. Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead - since he was a hundred years old - and that Sarah's womb was also dead." "Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised."

We must apply the same kind of faith to whatever situations, or circumstances that we or those we care about are facing. The situation may appear hopeless, dead and unsolvable. But we must remember to stand on God's promises about the situation. Just as Abraham did not waiver in his faith, neither should we. Abraham had a true faith that endured, believed, trusted, obeyed, grew strong and gave glory to God.

Remember our God gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were. (Romans 5:17) Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to scriptures that apply to the situation or circumstances you or they are facing and speak them with confidence day and night. There is power in the spoken word of God.

We can have peace and joy in the midst of trials if we have been justified by faith. "We can also rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance, character and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us." (Romans 5: 3 - 5).

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for being the Lord of our lives. Thank you forgiving us of our sins, iniquities, and transgressions. We come humbly but boldly to your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. Lord we place all of our concerns regarding the circumstances that we or those we are praying for are facing in their lives right now. We place them on your holy altar. We thank you Lord for increasing our faith in you and your word, oh Lord. To believe without doubt or wavering that nothing is impossible for you oh Lord, and that all things do work together for the good of those who love the Lord, those who are called according to your purposes. Lord we pray and stand in the gap for our families, loved ones and acquaintances that are facing various challenges right now. Lord we proclaim in the name of Jesus that your saving grace is being applied to their lives right now and that no weapon formed against them will prosper. We pray that they will turn and repent, if necessary, and start to live a holy life and receive your saving grace, in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for strengthening us. Help us not to be double minded but to stand secure on your word and on your promises to sustain us, and to believe that this and every situation is conforming to your holy word and your promise concerning it. " Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him." (2 Corinthians 2: 14)
